Kebler Pass – Day 3

The road to Kebler Pass was the route we took leaving Crested Butte today.  Wow, what an incredible explosion of color.   Although many of the Aspen groves on the east end were past their prime or had even lost their leaves, the further west we travelled the more color we encountered- yellow aspens and orange scrub oak.  I’m still shooting RAW+JPG without any post processing.  Here are two randomly chosen from about 300 images taken today.  Both shots taken with Pentax K7 and smc PENTAX-FA 43mm F1.9 Limited:
