Join Scenic Aperture for a spectacular Arches and Canyonlands photography workshop! Hone your landscape photography skills with Frank Comisar, an award winning photographer and Scenic Aperture’s founder. Arches and Canyonlands National Parks provide the discriminating photographer with unlimited landscapes of contrasting colors, landforms and textures unlike any other in the world. During this workshop we will shoot in both iconic parks.
The beautiful red rock scenery has made this area one of the most sought after destinations in the American Southwest. We will shoot the icons of course, but we will also explore lesser known areas for their photography potential. The workshop will be based in Moab, UT and is limited to just eight photographers.
During this workshop we will shoot two of the most iconic landscapes in the National Park system. Positioned in the high desert of southern Utah, Aches National Park features an extraordinary landscape of color, unique land forms and textures that is unlike any other in the world. Arches contains the greatest density of natural sandstone arches in the world plus interestingly eroded sandstone forms such as fins, pinnacles, spires, balanced rocks, and of course, lots of arches. Canyonlands National Park consists of canyons and plateaus carved by the Colorado and the Green rivers. It preserves one of the last, relatively undisturbed areas of the Colorado Plateau.
