Join Scenic Aperture for an incredible photography journey through the Navajo Nation in northern Arizona. During this workshop we will visit three premier locations in the Navajo Nation; Monument Valley, Canyon de Chelly, and slot canyons near Page, AZ. Hone your landscape photography skills with Frank Comisar, an award winning photographer and Scenic Aperture’s founder.
This will be an amazing journey through the most photogenic portions of the Navajo Nation. We will start our journey in Monument Valley, one of the most dramatic landscapes found in North America and the quintessential symbol of the American west. After Monument Valley, we will travel to Canyon de Chelly, where we will shoot rugged canyon landscapes adorned with fall color, ancestral puebloan dwellings, and ancient rock-art. Here we will follow in the footsteps of the masters such as Ansel Adams and Edward Curtis. After we finish in Canyon de Chelly, our journey will culminate in the abstract subterranean world of slot canyons near Page, AZ.
During this workshop we will photograph some of the most iconic vistas of the American Southwest. Towering sandstone buttes, deep canyons, ancient dwellings and mysterious rock-art are just a few of the countless opportunities to make memorable photographs. During our journey we will travel to three separate locations; Mexican Hat, UT, Chinle, AZ, and Page, AZ.
The tour is limited to only eight participants. Sign up now to reserve your spot!
