Our Colorado Wildflowers Photography Workshop is a great way to spend a summer weekend in the mountains! Join us for this colorful weekend workshop at the peak of wildflower season. The San Juan Mountains in southwestern Colorado are among the most spectacular mountains in the world. They contain seven wilderness areas, nine distinct ecosystems, and more land above 10,000 feet than any other mountain range in North America. This area offers some of the most diverse and exciting wildflower viewing in North America. The workshop will be based in Ridgway, Colorado.
Scenic Aperture’s workshops provide unique and exciting opportunities to photograph North America’s most scenic areas while providing meaningful learning opportunities for photographers of every skill level. Each workshop includes multiple morning and afternoon photo shoots with digital dark room sessions in between.
On-location and digital dark room training is customized for each participant’s needs from fundamentals to advanced techniques of landscape photography and digital post processing. Our workshops are both exhausting and exhilarating with long days during which we work hard to take advantage of our time together. We will push you to have fun, develop your creativity, and create beautiful images for which you can be proud.
Afternoon thunderstorms are common in the San Juan mountains so our itinerary will be flexible to to make the most of changing weather and lighting conditions. Feel free to contact Scenic Aperture for more information.
